Steve grew up under the flight path for the local airport in Sacramento, where his dad would take him to watch planes and have lunch, developing his love for aviation. After moving to Santa Barbara for college, he met his beautiful wife who encouraged him to pursue a career in aviation. They moved to the Bay Area and Steve completed Private Pilot through Multi-engine Flight Instructor ratings at Sierra Academy of Aeronautics. After a short stint as a tour pilot on the Big Island of Hawai’i, they returned to Santa Barbara where Steve has remained active as a flight instructor for the past 20+ years.
